Before QuaBook, we ran a food manufacturing business of our own.
We lived the 6 a.m. paperwork, the QC binders nobody could find, the audits we braced for with a week of overtime, and the recall scare where tracing one batch meant digging through months of paper. We knew the floor cold — and we knew our records couldn't keep up with it.
So we went looking for a system. We found two dead ends: paper-replacement apps too thin for real compliance, or enterprise MES platforms built for car parts — half a million dollars and a year from going live. Nothing was made for a real food plant run by real operators.
So we built it ourselves — the system we wished we'd had on our own floor. Designed for gloved hands and dead Wi-Fi zones, fluent in HACCP and FSMA, and built to make the next audit a non-event.
